British Sea Power – Do You Like Rock Music?

UK based band British Sea Power outdo themselves with their third album, Do You Like Rock Music? It’s an hour of ambitious, grandly scaled rock and roll, blazing guitars matched with sting sections and soaring vocals. Some aspects of the 13 track set may put off some listeners (some 18 minutes of the running time are taken up with instrumentals, for example), but generally speaking, it’s pretty impressive, often energizing work. Standout cuts: “Lights Out For Darker Skies,” “Waving Flags,” “Down On The Ground” and “Atom.”
