Frequently updated reviews of music for the most part, but also movies, TV programs and books. And whatever else comes up. I’ll be mostly writing about things I actually like, so most of the comments will probably be positive, though I’m bound to come across things I don’t like every now and then.
A note about Monkey Reviews: These are premised on the view that monkeys are an added value to any movie they’re in. Therefore, Monkey Reviews ratings are based on how many monkeys it would take to improve a movie. The best rating would then be Zero Monkeys, indicating a movie that requires no monkeys to improve it, with the worst rating being Five Monkeys with Chim-Chim from Speed Racer in a supervisory role.
Additional note about Monkey Reviews: There are no half monkeys in the Monkey Reviews rating system! Like my friend Robert said, a half monkey? Which half? That’s just gross!
